THE BELL TOWER ENDOWMENT is important because...

❏ it establishes a means by which to provide an enduring legacy for the church by spending only the interest of the Fund for maintenance of this facility and capital expenditures

❏ it is the basic rock upon which sound and lasting financial structures can be built

❏ it helps provide for the maintenance of our church facility forever

❏ it assures regular financial returns in accurately predictable amounts and, preserved intact, does so forever

❏ its principal sum continues to increase with efficient management and by the regular additions through living gifts, memorials, bequests, annuities and trusts

METHODS OF GIVING...

❏ Enrollment in Living & Memorial Endowments
“Living Endowments” are established in honor of friends, relatives, and loved ones who are still very much with us. They are gifts of affection, appreciation, recognition, thanksgiving, and to commemorate special occasions such as births, baptisms, and anniversaries. They may also simply be a public affirmation of the living donor’s belief that an endowment is appropriate.
The minimum initial gift to enroll is $100. Subsequently, additions may be made with a minimum of $50. Once enrolled, you are enrolled forever and automatically an “Endowment Sponsor.”

TAX ADVANTAGES...

The Church of the Incarnation’s Bell Tower Endowment is structured so that it affords the fullest tax advantage to donors provided by law. In cases of major tax consideration, and concerning bequests, prospective donors are urged to consult their own counsel. The Endowment will cooperate with these professionals, but can, of course, render no legal advice.

By contributing securities which have significantly appreciated in value, it may be to a donor’s advantage to estblish at this time a major endowment which can be added to periodically thereafter.
