Welcome to our mountain home.

The Church of the Incarnation exists to proclaim the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ through worship, love and service. As individuals and as a congregation, we dedicate ourselves to this purpose.

In the Diocese of Western North Carolina, we are located in the unique township of Highlands, North Carolina high in the Blue Ridge Mountains at an altitude of 4118 feet. The parish serves a diverse congregation of year-round residents, summer residents, and short time visitors. Members from all these groups are active participants in the worship, programs, and life of the parish.  Our average Sunday attendance is approximately 400 in the summer and 175 in the winter.   Whether you plan to live in Highlands on either a full-time or part-time basis or are visiting Highlands for a day, week-end, week or month, all are welcome to worship with us and participate in the many activities of the parish.
